Power Under Pressure
Did a 12'x12' deck support restructuring after wood rot failure. Original had 2 sets of (8) 2"x6"x6' beams supporting 12' trex. Removal was worse than new install as (1000) 3" wood screws were rusted in place. New redwood replaced all old boards with new 6" hangers requiring (4) 3" wood screws and (4) 1/4"x2" anglers each side of supports(24) 2"x6"x6'.
Installing 1500+ screws was a cinch with the Bosch 1/2" cordless drill with slim batteries in 100+ degree heat. When one battery stopped working, slide in the next for about 30 minutes of work while recharging other battery, just enough time to get a cold drink. Whatever speed/torque used the drill kept going...been using it ever since.
Speed chuck worked terrific, must have used it a few hundred times undoing chewed bits and replacing with nut drivers. Forward reverse switch worked every time. Trigger speed sensitive but mastery comes with familiarity. I banged the hell out of this thing and didn't even dent it.
Did not fail to perform one time. Great Power Tool! THANK YOU BOSCH!!! D-I-Y project saved me about $2000!
